I think the challenge at The Paper Players this week is totally fun! A tic tac toe/bingo type format that allows you to choose your own combination so long as they are connected/in a line. What a great idea - be sure to go check it out! First, check out my cards for the challenge.
I was inspired by this card by Kim Badelt when I saw it last week. I knew I would use the idea somehow and was mulling it over for a few days. I decided to go for a masculine card and leave out all the white. So, for the PP106 challenge I chose the column with favorite color, masculine, punches. I know, I used more than one color. What can I say? I like COLOR period, and can't choose just one!
Supplies
Stamp Sets: Thank You Kindly, Extreme Elements
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Cherry Cobbler, Lucky LimeAde, Island Indigo
Paper: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso textured, Whisper White
Tools: Corner Rounder punch (so ... I only used one punch! To be fair, I was thinking I would use a square punch, but it didn't work out with the size of the image)
Embellishments: Naturals Button, Baker's Twine Early Espresso

My second card was also inspired by someone else's creation... Jennifer Timko put together this fun card. When I saw it, I decided to "pin it" for later. :) Again, I decided to pass on the white background! (Nothing against white...) This matches up with the L-R diagonal on the PP106 challenge board: Circles, Dry Embossing, Punches.
