Elegant Lines

I am hosting a workshop tonight and thought I'd share what we'll be making! First of all, let me share a bit about embossing folders. The folders are great because you can emboss your card front knowing the placement will be just right.

I love the new Elegant Lines embossing folder, the Elegant Soiree DSP, the Victoria Crochet trim and the Antique Brads. So, guess what we're using tonight! And I am running a special: purchase the embossing folder, the DSP, the trim, Baja Breeze cardstock, Crumb Cake cardstock and Neutrals textured DSP cardstock (just over $50) you'll get the Antique Brads for FREE! Here are all the cards I've made with these products so far.

This last one is the Make & Take project for tonight. Super quick and easy - why we love the Big Shot!

I had a little more fun with the Circle Circus set. This time I also used the Rough Type set, available in the Summer Mini Catalog. Also, a few of the new colors are used. I think the top card shown here is so happy and fun! And the bottom card is the "masculine version."

Using the New Colors

Oops, it's been over two weeks since I've posted. Got busy with life, I guess! :) But now I'm back to stamping - putting together another custom ELM Designs order (yay!!) and trying to make some samples with the NEW stuff.

I just put this together in a late night stamping frenzy. These are 3 of the 6 new colors that are now in our Core Collections: Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist and Early Expresso. The more I use this Circle Circus set, the more I'm liking it. This particular flower one, is my favorite of the 10 stamps in the set! The words are taken from a set that is a Level 3 Hostess set in this 2010-2011 catalog.
