March 2, 2013

Found some time this morning to make a card for two challenges:
Freshly Made Sketches and The Play Date Cafe (a site I found just recently).
It looks better in real life, I think, but what can I do? :) For the color challenge I really had to scrounge! I pulled out scraps and dug deep into my collection of ... abandoned colors.

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Occasional Quotes
Ink: Basic Gray
Paper: Blush Blossom, Groovy Guava, Sage Shadow (I think!!), old DSP
Tools: Modern Label punch, Big Shot, Lacy Brocade EF
Embellishments: Chantilly ribbon, brad is actually in Calypso Coral SAB

Thanks for clicking over to my blog today!

  1. I love how you let the embossed layer take center stage on your pretty card! And it's nice to see some oldie but goodie colors! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. Love the texture and colors. Those colors are a bit before my time so it's always nice to see some older ones. Thanks for playing with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
