I've been wanting to try this butterfly with the Blossom punch since seeing it in the mini. I paired it up with the Color Challenge from The Paper Players. These antennae happened by accident. I layered the two butterflies and the Coral one was a bit bigger so I started to trim just that little area. The "tip" of the trim did not quite meet, so those tiny strips stayed on and I noticed they looked like antennae! Perfect. :)

Supplies
Stamp Set: Mixed Bunch

Paper: Blushing Bride, Basic Gray, Calypso Coral
Tools: Big Shot, Texturz Plates Backgrounds 1, Blossom punch, White EP, heat tool, sponge dauber

Thanks for clicking over to my blog today!

  2. Ellen, I have wanted to try this technique and I love all of the fun detail you added to the butterfly. The shading is so pretty against the textured background. Thanks so much for joining us at the Paper Players! :)
