August 14, 2011

For the Friday Mash-Up Challenge this week, I chose to use the color Wild Wasabi and the neutral Basic Black (oh, and white, but I don't that counts!) in addition to the challenge colors: Marina Mist and Perfect Plum. I also incorporated the Bling and Wings part of the challenge!

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: God's Beauty and Kind & Caring Thoughts (both retired hostess sets)
Ink: Black StazOn, Perfect Plum, Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery (marker to color leaves), Marina Mist (marker to color butterfly)
Paper: Perfect Plum, Basic Black textured, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Tools: Eyelet Border Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, paper snips
Embellishments: 1/8" Whisper White Taffeta ribbon, Stickles

Thanks for clicking over to my blog today!

  1. Ellen,
Ummm yes white is the neutral but I think you can get away with having two neutrals! Lovely card, your butterfly is so life like I almost expect it to flutter away.

Thanks for joining in the Butterfies and Bling challenge at the Friday Mashup.

    Cheers,
