I made this card based on the sketch challenge over at Just Add Ink this week. I always get so excited about DSPs ... then take forever to actually use them! I'm pretty sure my problem is that I over-think the situation when I try to use it on a card. I end up talking myself out of using any DSP, then my supply keeps building. :) But, I kept it simple and used a bit for this one.
Supplies:
Stamps: A Little Birthday Cheer, A Slice of Life
Ink: VersaMark, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point
Paper: SAB Ice Cream Parlor DSP, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Tools: Scallop Border punch, heat tool
Embellishments: SAB buttons, 3/8" Daffodil Delight Taffeta ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Tangerine Tango EP
Thanks for clicking over to my blog today!
Great use of our sketch and I too love using DSP, very cheery card. Thanks for joining in with our challenge at Just Add Ink this week.
ReplyDeleteI laughed when I read your DSP dilemma - I've got so much myself that it's my mission now to use it all up! Your card is gorgeous and I love that bright, happy paper you've used! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week!
ReplyDeleteVery cute card Ellen! I have the same problem with dsp. Every time I buy a new pack I wonder why I thought I needed it because I rarely use it. (I did this week though). Your card would make anyone's birthday happier. Thanks for playing at JAI this week.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very sweet card, Ellen. Good on you for cutting into your paper! It's lovely and bright - such a happy card. Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink this week!
