September 16, 2011

Wow. We've been too busy lately! Taking trips out of town, working, cleaning, going out with friends. We've had fun, of course, but I haven't posted in over 2 weeks. And I've only managed to squeak out 2 cards in that time. *sigh

On to better things - this card is what I created for this weeks ColorQ challenge. I curled my skinny strips of Turquoise around a pen!

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Circle Circus, Tiny Teacup
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Gray
Paper: Certainly Celery, Basic Gray, Poppy Parade, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise
Tools: Word Window punch, Big Shot, Fiskars brand texture plates "Waves"
Embellishments: Tempting Turquoise brads, Certainly Celery twill tape ribbon (retired SAB item)

----------

This next card is just one I've made for one of my ELM Designs customers. The DSP sheet flips open to reveal the "inside"/place to write. It is attached along the top with the brads and tucks into that suede circle at the bottom.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets: Extreme Elements, Vintage Labels
Ink: Soft Suede, River Rock, Basic Black
Paper: Basic Black, River Rock, Well Worn DSP, Whisper White, Soft Suede
Tools: 3/4" Circle punch, Wide Oval punch
Embellishments: Silver Brads

Thanks for clicking over to my blog today!
