These were made using the Love Impressions Rub-ons. SU! sent out a sheet to us demonstrators as a gift back in January (I think...). This is all that I've used of them so far! I am submitting it to the Stampin' Royalty challenge this week (posting with about an hour to spare before they close for submissions!

I am combining two challenges here. Pals Paper Arts is challenging us to make a vintage project. Many card makers have that down to an art. I, however, do not. Vintage is not really my style. I love it, but I just have trouble producing it myself! So, I went on a Google hunt for ideas from actual vintage greeting cards. Ingenius, I know. ;) I found this picture:

I think I may try to make cards similar to a few of these cards pictured. But, my eye first fell on the card in the middle of the top row. I figured I could come up with a card that looked a little like that one.

Over on Stacey's Stamping Stage, is a great color combination (that I'd like to try again)! I decided to use it for my vintage card. On one site I came across while Googling, I read vintage can be achieved using muted colors (among other things, of course). Not that Melon Mambo is muted... but I figured by sponging onto my stamp I could get away with it! :)

It's not what most would imagine as "vintage" in the paper crafting world, but here is what I made:

I wanted to submit a masculine card in a swap and this is what I came up with. My rule of thumb for creating masculine cards: less is more.

Since I used a Stampin' Around Wheel (Texture) I am submitting it to the current challenge on SUO (Stampin' Up! only) Challenges.

This morning I went to the quarterly meeting that my upline coordinates. We used this stamp for a Make & Take. And when I got home, I felt like making my own card with it. (This set is still new enough, I haven't used all the stamps in it!) This card below is what I came up with to put into the greeting card order I'm currently working to fill. I love these colors together (cannot say that enough!!!). :)

I am feeling behind on greeting card orders! Just delivered one this morning. I'm halfway into the next one. And then I have one more in line! And, still, the 300 wedding invitations to finish by the end of April. (Plenty of time, right?!?)

Anyway, I already made one of this card today, in different colors. Then I went over to Inkspirations and saw their Color Challenge this week. I was inspired to make a second one with these colors!
