May 28, 2012

Although I used the colors from Challenge 138 over at ColorQ, I missed their deadline. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday (which I rarely do - I find their sketches difficult to mesh with my style sometimes). I think I was finally able to pull one off. :) My card is a 5" square.

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Afterthoughts, Circle Circus
Ink: Crumb Cake
Paper: Very Vanilla, Pocketful of Posies, Pool Party, Crumb Cake
Embellishments: Designer Buttons Regals More Mustard, crochet thread
Tools: 3/4" Circle punch, 1 3/4" Circle punch, Larger Scallop Circle punch, Scallop Border punch, Big Shot, Flower Garden EF

May 26, 2012

Aaaand she's back! Wow. Time has been flying by and it has NOT included stamping. Can't believe 4 months passed since I last made a card. Hopefully, I can manage to continue to carve out time for my favorite hobby!! I hopped around my favorite Challenge Blogs and found a sketch over at Stampin 411.  Here is the card I made for the challenge:

Supplies:
Stamp Set: Fabulous Florets
Ink: Basic Gray, Wisteria Wonder, Lucky LimeAde
Paper: Wisteria Wonder, Basic Gray, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White
Embellishments: Tempting Turquoise Brads, Designer Buttons Brights (I used an Old Olive!), crochet thread, Lucky LimeAde ribbon from SAB pack
Tools: Big Shot, Square Lattice EF, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch
----------
I squeaked out this card a coule of weeks ago to give as a Thank You for a guy.

 ----------
And this one I made yesterday for a friend who ordered a pack of 12 cards from me - I had 11 sitting in a box, but just needed one more. :)

The "buttons" on the bottom are layered 3/4" and 1" circles with holes punched in them and a thin brushing of Crystal Effects.
